Worth saying again... "But if his wonders and beauty and grace and forgiveness and presence and faithfulness and good gifts (life, joy, love, peace, goodness) aren’t enough to sing about, what do we even believe in? No, we are Christians because we believe God is infinitely good, whether we can feel him or not."

Timely blog. Spent much of Thanksgiving on the phone with my cousin, whose daughter is in another medical crisis. Have lost too many people I know this year--to COVID and other illnesses. Pastor David Jeremiah's 11/15/2020 sermon, "Singing in the Rain," said much the same of what you said. We can always praise Him for who He is: His character, His promises, His power, His provision, and so much more.

Thank you Brennan. I am forwarding this to a friend who has had a lot of trouble dealing with her mom‘s passing in May. This is an ever constant reminder to praise God even during our troubled times. Praying for your family. I love your devotionals.
